Altres vegades formen bancs o faixes estretes totalment o parcialment blanques.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenen un aspecte fibr\u00f3s (com de cabells) i sovint una lluentor sedosa.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estan compostos totalment per cristalls de gla\u00e7 i la seva transpar\u00e8ncia es deu a l\u2019estat de dispersi\u00f3 d\u2019aquests cristalls.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normalment, quan passen davant del sol deixen passar pr\u00e0cticament tota la llum.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En les latituds mitjanes es troben per sobre dels 6.000 metres. S\u00f3n els n\u00favols m\u00e9s alts i mai no poden tenir altres n\u00favols per damunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Consells per a l\u2019observaci\u00f3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tot i tenir diferents formes, el color blanc, la transpar\u00e8ncia al sol i el fet de no crear ombra els fa generalment f\u00e0cils de distingir.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es tenyeixen d\u2019un color groc o vermell viu abans de la sortida i despr\u00e9s de la posta del sol. Tamb\u00e9 s\u2019il\u00b7luminen molt abans i s\u2019apaguen for\u00e7a m\u00e9s tard que la resta de n\u00favols. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En aquestes hores d\u2019inici i final del dia \u00e9s quan es veuen millor.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A la nit s\u00f3n dif\u00edcils de veure per la seva transpar\u00e8ncia, ja que poden passar davant de les estrelles sense ocultar-les.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quan apareixen sols al cel acostumen a indicar bon temps.
